The section of Medical Statistics was established on April 1, 2001 in the department of Preventive & Public Health Dentistry.
Faculty provide dental school students with lectures of mathematics and statistics, and practices of data processing , and guide researchers of oral medicine in applying various statistical analysis methods for their specific cases.
Research activities
1. Study on data mining methods using the evolutionary computation for the medical field.
2. Research and development of statistical methods for incomplete databases in the medical field.
